Before you you decide what type of business you will set yourself up as; Sole Trader, Limited Company or a Partnership it is vital that you understand the differences between the options. We always start with an informal consultation, this can be in person, over the phone or by email, really we just need to get to know you and gain a better understanding of your business ideas and plans.

Choice
Ultimately the choice of company structure is yours, we will present the pros and cons of each company type and make our recommendation based on our experience and what we think your business needs. We will take into account the strategy you have in your business plan, allowing for rapid growth or something more sedate. We don’t say one size fits all just to suit ourselves, instead we recommend what is best for you.

Launch
Once you have reached a decision over the company structure it’s all systems go, we will take the strain and fill in all the forms (there are many…) We have trodden this path many times so we know the process and how to avoid the pitfalls when setting up your company correctly. It is very important to follow the legal framework and guidance when establishing your company, it avoids any issues down the line.

Monthly
We operate a monthly payment plan that overs all of your requirements, spreading the costs over each month makes things easier for you, no nasty big bill at year end! As and when you need more help from us we will simply amend your monthly payment to reflect the changes and additional work.

Take advantage of our bookkeeping service and we will do everything for you. You will always be up to date with your accounts and have a much clearer view of your financial position.

VAT
If you are registered for VAT taking care of your quarterly returns and submitting them on time can result in a few late nights! Let us take care of your VAT and you will never be late with your submissions and you can enjoy your precious leisure time.

You may already have employees or be planning to expand, managing the associated payroll of your business and keeping up to date with the latest government legalisation can be challenging. We operate monthly payrolls for many other businesses just like your’s, handling the HR function for new-starts, sickness pay, maternity pay and unfortunately in some circumstances redundancies and dismissals. Having 100% accurate data is critical for you and your employees confidence in your business.

The cash flow of your business is critical to your success or failure. One of the key elements to a strong cash flow is being paid on time by your customers’. We manage Credit Control for many clients’ who simply don’t have the time or skills to professionally ‘chase’ payments. We build relationships with your customers and ensure regular communications take place between us and them. Invoices, credit notes and statements are distributed and followed up by email and telephone when required. In our experience good communication with your customers’ accounts departments is the best method of avoiding any bad debts.

Q Limited Companies As a Limited Company you benefit from an efficient tax structure and limit your liabilities should your business ever fall into difficulties. You have the flexibility to draw a salary as well as receive regular dividends. Managing the finances of a limited company involves more work than if you were a Sole Trader or Partnership. Staying up to date with company rules and regulations can be very time consuming, we work alongside you to remove this burden and allow you to work on your main business activities.

Accounting
We will prepare all the necessary documentation for your year end including full and abbreviated sets of accounts.

The submission of your final accounts to Companies House is critical and needs to be done on time to avoid late filing penalties. We can submit abbreviated accounts that keep some of detail of your trading information confidential. All of our annual accounts and returns are prepared using up to date accounting software, ensuring the submissions are accurate, from the information provided.

Company Secretarial
As a Limited Company you are required to maintain company registers and submit documentation to Companies House. Failure to make these submissions on time will result in unavoidable penalties, that in some cases can be onerous. If you allow us to manage your Company Secretarial work all of your submissions will be made on time. Our systems are directly linked to Companies House so all of your submissions are made electronically. We can also act as your Company Secretary, and if required we can provide your company with its Registered Office address.
